Jessica Leonard
CACFP Coordinator
Jessica has worked for MPCC since 2015. She began her journey here as an assistant teacher and now manages the entire CACFP program for all MPCC sites. Jess recently directed our 2022 summer program at our North Bennington campus. Jess has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education and a Level IIIA Career Ladder Certificate and a Program Director I credential from Northern Lights at Community College of Vermont.
Jess enjoys welcoming children first thing in the morning to the center. She feels that this small interaction could be the biggest part of a child's day. Welcoming a student with positive and open arms can set the tone for the remainder of their time at school; Jess' hope is that it is a constructive tone.
When Jess isn't writing menus and helping in the classroom, she enjoys raising her own three children and spending as much time possible with her family and foster child. She enjoys living on her farm where they raise 56 chickens, 4 pigs, 3 dogs, and a cat. She says it’s an insanely busy life, but she wouldn't want it any other way!
