Jess has worked for MPCC since 2015. She began her journey here as an assistant teacher at Lil Peeps. Now she works for all centers as our CACFP Coordinator, which is our food program here at Myers & Prouty. She also takes time to help as a substitute teacher when needed. Currently, Jess has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education and a Level 3 Certificate for Northern Lights through the State of Vermont. She is first aid and CPR certified along with a multitiude of other trainings that helped her continue her education while working with children. Jess's favorite part of the day would be the morning time when children arrive to school. She enjoys checking them in, gretting them, and asking how their nights went at home. She enjoys that morning free-play allows children to ease into the classroom and have free time to chat with teachers and peers before starting their school day. When Jess isn't writing menus and helping out in the classroom she enjoys raising her own three children and spending as much time possible with her family. She enjoys living on her farm where they raise 56 chickens, 4 pigs, 3 dogs, and a cat. She says its an insanely busy life but she wouldn't want it any other way!
