The MPCC Journey
Over 30 years ago, in the warm, nurturing environments of their own homes, two passionate registered child care providers, Jackie Myers and Michelle Prouty, planted the seeds of what would become a beacon of early childhood education in their community. What began as a small, home-based service quickly blossomed as more families recognized the exceptional care and learning experiences Jackie and Michelle offered. Before long, their homes could no longer contain the growing number of eager young minds, and so, the dream expanded.

Fast forward to today, Myers Prouty Children's Campuses (MPCC) stands tall as a flourishing non-profit organization, proudly operating eight campuses dedicated to nurturing infants as young as six weeks old up to children aged 12. Each day, MPCC touches the lives of countless children and families, providing not just care, but a foundation for lifelong learning and growth.
In 2018, recognizing the need to formalize their commitment to the community, MPCC was officially formed as a non-profit organization. This milestone marked a new chapter in their mission: to build a stronger community by partnering with families to raise happy and healthy learners. Through quality early education and after-school care, MPCC follows the Strengthening Families™ model—a research-informed approach that focuses on enhancing family strengths, promoting child development, and reducing the risk of child abuse and neglect.
But the story of MPCC isn’t just about growth and expansion; it’s about a relentless dedication to what’s best for children and their families. Every MPCC campus is a place where children of all cultures, backgrounds, and abilities are welcomed with open arms. Here, exploration is encouraged, positive social interactions are nurtured, and emotional security is paramount. Each environment is thoughtfully designed to help every child flourish, both as an individual and as a valued member of the community.
Today, Myers Prouty Children's Campuses remains a cornerstone of the community, steadfast in its mission to support families and empower the next generation of learners. What began in the homes of two visionary women has grown into a legacy of love, learning, and community that will continue to thrive for generations to come.
We believe every child has the power to discover their unique strengths, explore their potential, and shape their future with confidence. In a nurturing environment, they can grow, learn, and develop the skills to brighten the world and inspire positive change in their communities.
Our Mission
Myers Prouty Children’s Campuses, Inc. & Partners works to ensure that all children and their families have the opportunity and support to develop to their unique potential and share meaningful bonds within our educational community.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy stems from the knowledge that children learn and grow in predictable stages throughout childhood. At each developmental stage, new skills and understandings are emerging. At the same time, we also know that despite this sequence, all children are individuals and have individual characteristics from birth which make each child special and unique. Development always occurs within the context of each child’s unique potential. Our program functions on the belief that all children shall be provided enhanced connections and therefore we believe that every family is our partner. We partner with families to ensure each child develops their optimal ability within a responsive and nurturing learning community. Throughout the daily operations of the program, we value highly qualified and well-trained early care and education staff to provide exceptional learning experiences in a responsive environment.
