Amanda Rose

Lead Teacher

Amanda has been working for Forever Friends since May of 2010, that’s 11 years! She started as a volunteer, but learned quickly she loved childcare and decided to go back to college for Early Childhood Education. Amanda currently has her CDA and level 2 on her career ladder. She is working on completing her level 3, but due to Covid-19 restrictions she has yet to have someone come observe her. She has completed fundamentals for early childhood professionals, introduction to exceptional populations, community and work experience and "my focused portfolio" development at CCV. In the midst of completing all of this college and training, Amanda continued to work at Forever Friends as a volunteer, then an assistant teacher and now is the lead teacher in the classroom. Amanda's favorite part of the day at Forever Friends is circle and outside play. She states that this is beacause the kids and staff are able to sing, dance, laugh, and enjoy their time best togeher. When Amanda isn't working hard at schooling or being a lead teacher at Forever Friends, she enjoys spending time with her three boys, taking them on walks and snapping photos of them and the outdoors!
